Title: The Political Economy of Multi-Agent Alignment
Abstract: Multi-agent systems are an increasing important part of AI. How should we design and govern them? In this talk, I will assess the state of multi-agent systems and present the results of several studies exploring some of the ways multi-agent systems go awry, characterizing the behavior of agents within these systems, and identifying causal interventions that increase good behavior.
